About the Camp

Get ready for another fun, exiting, and highly educational summer this year at Fresno Chaffee Zoo! 

Know how to take wonderful and memorable shots of animals in "Animal Photography." Wonder over Africa's largest, tallest, and most interesting animals in "Zoovivor Africa." 

Then, older campers will be given a hands-on, more in-depth study of nature in "Young Naturalists," which can never be enough for your budding scientist. There will also be "Art Adventures" that will give campers the opportunity to enhance artistic skills through observing, sketching, painting, and taking pictures of animals in the field. 

Does your little camper wish to know what it's like to be part of a team that takes care of the zoo? He/she will have a chance with "Jr. Zookeeper," where campers will make rounds and assist Zookeepers in feeding, cleaning, and caring for a selection of animals in the zoo.  

There are a host of different camps available in Chaffee such as

• Zoo Adventures
• Land Before Time
• Under the Sea

Each camp theme runs in 4-day week schedule, with whole-day activities for children and half-day sessions for tiny tots. Call the Educational Department at (559) 498-5920 or visit the Fresno Chafee Zoo website to learn more.

Process on how the parents/guardians register

Please complete form for participants (photocopies are acceptable) and return it with the registration fee .
A confirmation and parking pass will be mailed to you. Daily fees include snacks. Mail registration and fee to:
