Video Game Creation- The Sequel
About the Camp
Overview
- Ages: 8-15
- Level: Introductory - Intermediate
- System: MS Windows
One of the coolest things your little programmer can do is to create a game similar to the famous Mario, Sonic, Samus, and legendary video game stars.
And that is just the thing USA Chess is going to offer your children with its newest summer camp offering: Video Game Creation. Each camper is given a Game Maker software to create their own side-scrolling platform game that has the following capabilities:
- Running
- Jumping
- Falling
- Climbing
- Blasting
- Enemy stomping
Students will be taught how to incorporate real world physics such as gravity and friction as they plot mind-blowing mazes for them and other avid gamers and programmers to solve.
Camp will be at St. Anthony School from July 9 - July 13, 2012. More information about this camp is available at the USA Chess website or by calling (888)-65-CHESS. Register online now and get your kid started in the gaming industry.
